We discovered Elk Neck State Park in central Maryland over a decade ago when looking for a new place to take camping trips with our family. ![]() The lighthouse is beautiful and the views are amazing from around it but it is a mile walk to get to it, so you might want to consider that if you have little ones. We live about 30mins from here and enjoy day trips here.
